Take Care of Your Boots and They Will Take Care of You
At Meindl we know that quality boots are a significant investment. That’s why we are so committed to educating our customers on the best care methods to ensure your boots continue to perform optimally and last for many years to come.
Before First Use
All Meindl boots come from the factory treated and ready to use. However, if you want to ensure your boots are in top condition from the moment you step onto the pitch, you can quickly treat them with our Meindl Wet Proof treatment, leave them on for 24 hours, then apply Meindl Sport Wax.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat Sport Wax before applying. This can cause it to penetrate too deeply and reduce the breathability of the leather and its comfort. DO NOT apply oils or greases to our boots. There are two reasons for this: Firstly, oily and greasy products can cause the boots to lose their strength and stability. Second, oil or grease will seep through the leather, which can cause the soles and lining to peel off the boot.
